Singing and Work Day

Myrtle Campground

Map: County Rd 274 Myrtle MO

Lord willing, and weather permitting, there will be a workday on the Myrtle, MO campground Saturday, April 6, 2024. The main project we hope to get accomplished is to put a new roof on the tabernacle. Any young and able-bodied brethren who can come and help with this project would be appreciated.

Cabins and dorms will be available on the campground and meals will be served in the dining hall. We plan to have services Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel, followed by dinner in the dining hall. A singing is planned for Sunday night for all who stay over.

Myrtle, Missouri, is in the direct path of the total solar eclipse, which is to take place on Monday, April 8th, 2024, beginning shortly after noon and reaching totality just before 2:00 p.m. Several of the saints have expressed a desire to be here for that spectacular event. So, everyone is welcome to come for the weekend meeting and stay over and witness the complete eclipse of the sun on Monday, April 8th, as the moon's shadow passes directly over Myrtle, Missouri. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event for this rural area of the Ozarks where the saints have gathered for camp meetings for over 70 years.
